Welcome to Tinah Shelter of Hope Uganda, an organization born from resilience and dedicated to creating a peaceful community free from sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV). We provide hope, support, and empowerment to Uganda's most vulnerable people, helping them transform their lives.
They teach that gender equality is not just a women's issue but one that must fully engage both men and women.
This value emphasizes creating a peaceful community where everyone is respected, regardless of their gender, age, physical, health, or financial status.
The organization is dedicated to advocacy for the rights and justice of victims and survivors of SGBV.
Last year, with the help of our supporters, we made a significant difference.
To campaign against sexual-gender based violence, promote gender equity and equality, create awareness, support and protect (SGBV) victims. We do this through direct support, media advocacy, and community engagement.

We believe in a multi-faceted approach to tackling SGBV, combining direct intervention with broad-based awareness campaigns.
Tinah Shelter of Hope Uganda conducts school outreaches that focus on providing interactive sessions and counseling to students.
The TSOHO Gender Lens News Media project uses various social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, WhatsApp, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Through its home visits program, Tinah Shelter of Hope Uganda aims to gain a deeper understanding of the needs of vulnerable families and individuals.
We currently do not have a solid grant, which constrains our ability to scale up programs.
Poor road infrastructure makes it difficult to reach remote communities.
As we are not yet consistently funded, it is a challenge to recruit and retain experienced counselors and mentors who are vital to our work
